Food Bank Meguro regularly holds free food distribution events and engages in social welfare activities, providing food free of charge to people who are unable to get enough to eat due to reasons such as single parents or unemployment.
We at Food Bank Meguro
- Priority will be given to those who live or work in Meguro Ward, Tokyo.
- This will contribute to both the reduction of food waste and the resolution of poverty issues, both of which are issues set out in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- We are committed to protecting personal information. All information provided will be anonymized and will not be used for any purpose other than distribution without the individual’s permission.
- Food is properly stored in dedicated warehouses and freezers. We have members who are qualified as food hygiene managers, and in principle we follow the guidelines set by the government.
