In line with the basic principles of the Child Welfare Act and the Children’s Charter, Fukuoka Childcare Center is working to create a facility that makes children feel glad that they were raised at Fukuoka Childcare Center by actively pursuing the protection of children’s rights and supporting their social independence. We are also working to create a facility that is open to the community so that it can function as a base for local welfare.
In our society, there are children who are difficult to raise by their families due to various reasons such as unforeseen disasters or accidents, divorce, illness, inappropriate parenting, etc. Fukuoka Childcare Center is a facility that guarantees the rights of such children, who have been placed in the care of Fukuoka City Comprehensive Child Consultation Center (Child Guidance Center), and provides social care and protection for them.
