Its mission is to help those seeking to quit drugs and to spread the message of hope that “any drug addict can recover.” Okinawa DARC offers a place to recover, time to recover, and peer models of recovery, as well as physical, mental, and social support, to help people recover from addictions, not just drugs, through fellowship with others who share the same struggles. DARC also supports recovery through group therapy (meetings) with peers seeking recovery.
