The Gold Coast Project for Homeless Youth Inc. is an ACNC registered charity that supports young people aged between 16-25 years in need of housing assistance and support. Our business relates to supporting young people to gain, maintain and sustain accommodation tenancies.
We aim to reduce and prevent the cycle of homelessness. We partner with our community to raise awareness about Youth Homelessness and collaborate to find solutions. We deliver specific planned activities, programs and follow-up support, focusing on living skills to foster independence, sustain tenancies, health and wellbeing.
We believe that Housing First is the best response to support young people to get back on track. We assist young people and their families where appropriate, to work to resolve the issues that are putting them at risk of homelessness. We also support young people who are sleeping rough, couch surfing, or living at home.
