We are a non-profit association belonging to the Dominican Catholic Church, established in 2010 by the Order of La Merced and the community of the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, of Las Caobas, Santo Domingo Oeste, with the purpose of providing a more dignified life to children and adolescents, freeing them from child labor and rehabilitating them in their rights.

The activities are based on a rights-based approach, integrated with community work that allows us to identify and strengthen the capacities of children and adolescents, their families, the community, civil society, the private sector, and rights guarantors. Interventions are carried out in the following areas: Education, Recreation, Food Security, Health, Social Work, Legal Support, Awareness Raising, and Advocacy. The Foundation works in the Bienvenido and Hato Nuevo areas, in the Manoguayabo sector of Santo Domingo Oeste. Through the ERA Program (Space for Recreation and Learning), we work with 295 children and adolescents and support 180 of their families to guarantee their rights to education, food, health, and recreation. The activities we develop aim to protect them from having to work on the streets, where they are exposed to numerous risks.
