Sapporo Community Interpreters

This system dispatches trained volunteer interpreters to schools, childcare facilities, ward offices, etc. to eliminate the “language barrier”. In principle, they are dispatched to Sapporo City-related facilities free of charge. This system is operated as a Sapporo City-subsidized project, and the Sapporo International Communication  Plaza Foundation pays the interpreters’ transportation expenses and honorarium. There is no cost to facilities or users.
