Kobe Boys’ Town began as a facility for children who lost their homes in the war after the war, but today, children who have been admitted for various reasons live together with their peers. In 2001, the facility underwent major renovations, and by adopting a small group home, we are working to build affection and trust among more intimate human relationships and ensure the stable development of each child. The children and staff communicate with each other daily to ensure that they are as comfortable as possible and can enjoy their time making the most of their individual abilities and interests.
