Kyoto City: Self-reliance support system for people in poverty

In April 2015, a support system for people in poverty was launched based on the Act on Support for Self-reliance of People in Poverty. Kyoto City has set up a consultation desk to help people who are facing life challenges for various reasons and are struggling with work, housing, and daily life to achieve economic and social independence. Dedicated consultation support staff will provide support tailored to each person’s situation, helping them to resolve their troubled situation.
