What is free or low-cost medical care?
Based on Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Social Welfare Act, this is a business that provides medical care free of charge or at a low cost to people who are unable to receive appropriate medical care for financial reasons, so that they can receive good treatment with peace of mind.
Who can use it?
This system is available to patients who receive treatment at our hospital and have difficulty paying medical expenses for financial reasons. Those who can use it include those who do not have an insurance card, those who have been issued a short-term National Health Insurance card or a qualification certificate, households receiving school assistance, those who are struggling with reduced income due to illness, disability, restructuring or unemployment, and those who would face financial difficulties if they had to pay medical expenses.
