At any of the centers, legal consultations are generally charged at 5,500 yen (tax included) for 30 minutes, but those who do not meet a certain level of financial means can receive free consultations (counseling assistance from the Legal Affairs Center). Whether or not you can receive free consultations (counseling assistance from the Legal Affairs Center) will be explained at the time of reservation.
The Okinawa Bar Association provides free legal consultations, including free consultations for crime victims (first consultation is free), free consultations for labor and welfare assistance (first consultation is free), free legal consultations for those with multiple debts (first consultation is free), free telephone legal consultations for LGBT people (free), and consultations regarding traffic accidents (up to five consultations are free for the same incident).
