Established in 1986 to mark the 100th anniversary of Kyofukai’s founding, HELP (House in Emergency of Love and Peace) is a short-term, free, and low-cost lodging facility with shelter functions for women and their children, regardless of nationality or residence status. In recognition of the activities of the Women’s House HELP, it received the 4th Tokyo Bar Association Human Rights Award in 1990 and the Asahi Social Welfare Award in 2002.
