Our Mission
The Mission of the St. Vincent de Paul Ministry of St. Michael parish is to aid our community and parish by following Christ’s example to help and defend those in need; always remembering that what we do for the least of these, we do for Christ Jesus himself.
How We Serve
SVDP volunteers positively impact the needs of those who live in and around our parish community and our parishioners through six distinct modes of service. Scroll down to learn more.
- Food Assistance: to those who are in need on Thursdays (at St. Michael) and Mondays (in Loachapoka).
- Care for Children: food and school supplies for children in need.
- Utility and Hardship Assistance: to those who fall below a certain income level.
- Care for the Elderly: visits, gifts, and treats for those in need.
- EASEHouse: delivery of 30 fresh made meals every week of the year.
- Mini Vinnies: a service oriented ministry for children in grades 3-6.
