Although food is still safe and delicious to eat, it is discarded as garbage without being distributed for various reasons, such as substandard products generated during the manufacturing process of food companies, unsold products, poor shape, or inedible items.
Food Bank Sapporo accepts these foods as donations free of charge from companies and individuals, and engages in volunteer activities to redistribute them free of charge to people in need, as well as social welfare facilities and organizations.
